Charlottesville Wedding Society began as CCWEP, an organization that supported the Charlottesville wedding industry for more than a decade. As the industry evolved, so did the need for a more modern community. Under the leadership of Lisa Watson, the organization was thoughtfully reimagined and relaunched as Charlottesville Wedding Society (CWS). With years of experience working alongside Charlottesville wedding professionals and building community-driven businesses, Lisa recognized the power of connection and the impact a strong local network can have on vendors and couples alike. Built on collaboration, professionalism, and shared growth, the organization evolved from humble beginnings into a platform recognized for the quality of its wedding vendors and the trusted resources it provides to couples.
