Amelia Camacho: Wedding Singer

Amelia Camacho is a Charlottesville-area musician and voice teacher with over 25 years of professional experience helping individuals and communities find their voices through music. She maintains a private voice studio near Crozet and performs regularly as a singer, flutist, and pianist throughout Central Virginia. For more than two decades, Amelia served on staff as Director of Music at two local parishes, where she planned and led music for weekly liturgies, holidays, and hundreds of wedding ceremonies. In this role, she worked closely with couples to select meaningful music and provided music as a cantor, pianist, and flutist, coordinating with guest musicians and clergy to ensure each ceremony felt personal, seamless, and beautifully supported. Known for her warm presence and attention to detail, Amelia enjoys helping couples navigate the musical aspects of their wedding with ease — whether that means choosing traditional repertoire, incorporating classical or contemporary pieces, or creating something unique. Her background in vocal pedagogy and performance allows her to collaborate comfortably with singers, instrumentalists, and ensembles of all styles. In addition to wedding music, Amelia performs with local theaters and churches and teaches private voice lessons.
