First of all, I'm really proud to be a member of this community (CWS), which serves couples who care deeply about the people involved in their wedding day! I'm the owner and filmmaker behind Reel Deal Films, where my focus is always to create wedding films that feel natural, organic, honest, and alive. My approach is rooted in documentary storytelling. I genuinely love getting to know my couples, their families, and the dynamic of their friend group. That connection (hopefully) helps me blend in seamlessly and capture moments as they unfold, instead of manufacturing them. I'm always looking for cinematic composition and gorgeous lighting (of course) but I really don't believe in over-directing a wedding day. It should be a once-in-a-lifetime event with all of your favorite people. I'll gently guide you into a few intentional moments, but the heart of my work is always the in-between; walking from one place to another, a quiet moment with a grandparent, unfiltered joy on the dance floor. Every film is shot and edited by me. From the first frame to the last, I'm very hands-on in shaping a story that feels cohesive, emotionally resonant, and totally true to you. I take real pride in putting together films that I think will stand the test of time, because they're built on authenticity and genuine emotion (sometimes leaning into the funny or awkward, if I know you'll like it). My goal is that every time you rewatch your videos, whether it's the finished film, the ceremony, the toasts, or the dances, you'll notice a new detail hiding in the background or in the edit.
