Addie Harding

Hi! My name is Addie Harding, I've been in various parts of the the wedding/event industry for some time now. I first started in the event industry as a part-time day of wedding coordinator while working and going to school as a Certified Dental Assistant. I made the decision to pursue more of what I was passionate about, which was to make headway in the event industry! I loved working with brides, but did not get to spend as much time with them being their day of coordinator. I moved to Harrisonburg VA and decided to work at a bridal dress shop while living there. It was an amazing experience working with brides one on one; planning, executing a vision, and being a small part of their special day! After a year of working there, I moved again, this time to Richmond VA. I wanted to pursue something in the event industry that I had not done before to gain more knowledge and experience! I now work for Lighting Professors in Richmond and their sister company Blue Ridge Event Production! I am the Sales Manager at Lighting Professors, and handle the quoting process, client interactions, and aspects of design for our events. I've always been drawn to the event industry in different ways, especially the design aspect of events. I love making a vision come to life, and the thought process of getting there! I am looking to further my knowledge in all aspects of events, what goes into planning them, and to make new connections with people. There's always something new to learn in this industry! A little about me is that I am newly engaged and am getting married in June of 2027 to my high school sweetheart! I am a big extrovert and love hanging out with people and having a good time. I enjoy being outdoors, anything interior design, thrifting, and crafting- especially if I am making something for someone!
