I'm a Blue Ridge Mountain gal but, the ocean calls my name from time to time so there's no question, I'm a wanderer. My dish is biscuits & gravy, my drink is sweet tea (decaf though), my movie is Finding Nemo (yes I’m an adult child) and my music taste ranges from reggae to old gospel! I’m fluent in movie quotes, and though I often say I’m done… let’s be honest, you’ll hear me say “one more” at least once. I grew up in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, and while small-town life shaped me, it never contained my love for travel. I’ve been blessed beyond measure to explore 14 countries, and though I’m always dreaming of more adventures, there truly is no place like home. With an equal love for both mountains and water, I feel closest to God when I’m outdoors — surrounded by open spaces, rolling textures, and the feeling of the Earth beneath my feet. It’s indescribable. I’ll admit, I still squeal when we capture an unforgettable shot. But after getting married and creating a family of my own, I’ve grown in how I view photography. It’s no longer just about the perfect photo — it’s about preserving the moments that matter: our marriage, our children, and the people and places that make life beautiful. Outside of photography, you’ll find me with my husband, our two boys and our new ducks.
