I'm a wedding and portrait photographer based in the DMV, and I've found my calling in telling the love stories of multicultural couples β the kind of love that bridges cultures, traditions, and worlds. There's something deeply moving about capturing two people who have chosen each other across every difference, and I count it a privilege every single time. I've been walking alongside couples on their wedding days technically since 2012, though my journey hasn't been a straight line β and I love that about it. Along the way, I took intentional pauses to live overseas and immerse myself in several Southeast Asian cultures, experiences that expanded my eye, deepened my empathy, and forever changed the way I see people and their stories. I re-joined the wedding world in 2018/2019, and have loved growing to better understand and document every couple's unique wedding and relational unity. One thing I would love to capture more of is full-weekend wedding coverage. I would love to be behind the scenes documenting more of the full spectrum of a couple's celebrations with family and friends. Taking my family abroad for Italy + Greece weddings are also top tier on the business bucket list. When I'm not behind the lens, you can find me chasing my kids, logging miles training for my next triathlon, or nursing a really good cup of coffee (Waterloo sparkling water in hand for the second half of the day, obviously). I'm always looking for new explorations at coffee shops, hiking trails, and Asian-Fusion restaurants. Faith is the anchor of my life, and my family is my "why" behind everything I do. Lately I've been completely taken over by table floral arrangements, ADHD research, and my TMYO CurlPro β I'm not entirely sure why, but here we are, and I have zero regrets.
