About Me

I got my start in cinematography in college. Weekends were spent making short films and watching endless movies for inspiration. Graduating into a pandemic handed the opportunity to start my own business on a silver platter, and I find myself falling more in love with the opportunities that photography gives me every day. When I'm not at weddings you can find me snowboarding, in the gym, at the skate shop (and sometimes the skate park!), or hanging out with my husband and our cats :)

Pronounced like Eye-lish, I'm a Charlottesville, Virginia wedding photographer. I've been full-time in the industry for 6 years, and I love getting to memorialize weddings for my clients. I have experience in both photography and cinematography, which gives my images a uniquely timeless feel. My experience in film enables me to be unobtrusive, allowing you to experience your day exactly as it unfolds. I act as an observer on wedding days to create images that are unique to each client. No two weddings ever unfold the same, and I find so much beauty in the individuality of each event I document. The top priority is preserving your experience without distraction. Resulting in photos that are so full of life and uniquely yours that you have a sensory experience when looking back at them. In 20 years, remember your first look and feeling the warmth of the sun, hearing the birds chirp during your vows, and the beat thumping in your chest as you dance the night away.
