They say do what you love and honestly, I've never really stopped hosting, it just became my job! As a caterer and coordinator I try to live somewhere between organized and warm. I love a solid timeline and always have backup plans in my head, but I never want an event to feel stiff or overly managed. I care a lot about how the day feels for guests, not just whether it stays on schedule. Good food, smooth service, and a comfortable atmosphere matter just as much to me as the big moments. The reason I keep coming back to weddings and events is the feeling at the end of the night. Knowing I helped create a space where people laughed, celebrated, and made memories they’ll talk about for years. I love getting excited with clients and bringing their ideas to life. The wilder the better! Mascot dance off at your reception? Hot dog jello centerpiece for a 70s party? I’m in! I really value teamwork and clear communication. Events work best when vendors trust each other and collaborate, and that’s a big reason I love being part of the Charlottesville Wedding Society network. Having a community that supports each other and genuinely wants every event to succeed makes a huge difference, plus we have a lot of fun!  Outside of work I’m still throwing themed parties for the people I love. Space cowboy birthday dance party, a Margaritaville murder mystery, and currently a mad science baby shower for my first baby arriving this summer! If I’m not with friends or family I’m probably crafting with a beach or a lake house renovation show on in the background. A girl can dream, right?
