Jackson Smith

Jackson graduated from The University of Virginia with a masters degree in Environmental Science. Shortly after, instead of continuing in academics, he decided he wanted to be a photographer. He spent all his money on 150 rolls of film, a tripod, a used Nikon F3, and piggybacked onto a research trip studying monkeys in Costa Rica. Three months later, once he film ran out, he headed home with his first portfolio in hand. Since then, he has been an active commercial photographer. After meeting his wife Amy, a wedding photographer, they do all their work together and love working on set with crew, creatives and clients to make quality images.
