I've been baking pretty much all my life. My mom had me helping in the kitchen as soon as I was old enough to measure. I started Butta Bakery by selling everything from chocolate chip cookies to a rotating selection of French macarons at the local farmers markets. I loved doing the markets but my plan was always to open my own bakery. However, in August of 2024 I had to have a spinal fusion and was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. After taking a break to heal, I wanted to go back to baking but knew I wouldn't be able to handle doing the markets, so I shifted to doing more weddings and custom orders.
