Hi, I’m Joanna aka Ms.JOJO ! I’ve spent over 15 years in the bustling hospitality industry and more than 8 years dedicated to childcare. Translation? I know exactly how to take care of people, keep the energy positive, and handle just about any event-day surprise thrown my way. Today, I’m bringing all that experience to Golden Hour Littles. The business was the brilliant idea of my longtime best friend and company founder, Gaby Rojas, who realized we could turn something we already deeply love ; caring for kiddos—into a premium service for events. I jumped right in alongside her to help bring her wonderful vision to life, and it has been an incredible journey ever since. If you know weddings, you know they can get a little chaotic. Luckily, WE thrive under pressure! Having worked with numerous fast-paced companies, I’ve mastered the art of keeping a cool head and a solutions-oriented mindset when things get wild. I pride myself on being an intuitive problem solver ,give me a challenge and I’m already executing a creative fix to ensure everything keeps running beautifully behind the scenes. My ultimate professional goal is to help scale Golden Hour Littles into a highly successful, go-to business that becomes a staple in the Charlottesville wedding community, offering top-tier experiences for couples and total peace of mind for parents. When I’m not working with your Little’s , you can find me recharging in the beautiful DMV outdoors. I love staying active, whether I'm paddleboarding on the water with my best-friend and our kids , or channeling my creative side into painting.
