About Me

Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, I've proudly called Charlottesville home for the past 24 years. For two decades, I've had the privilege of co-owning Orzo Kitchen and Wine Bar, a Mediterranean restaurant rooted in local ingredients and a deep commitment to creating community around the table. Outside of the restaurant, I'm passionate about travel, reading, gardening, hiking and film. These are all things that inspire the way I think about hospitality and connection. I'm thrilled to be deepening my involvement with Charlottesville's wedding community, with a particular focus on making Orzo the premier destination for rehearsal dinners. I look forward to building relationships with wedding planners and all of the talented professionals who make this industry so special.

That philosophy feels like a natural fit for the wedding world, where every detail matters and every gathering is meaningful. Nestled in the heart of Charlottesville, Orzo Kitchen and Wine Bar has been a cornerstone of the local dining scene for over 20 years. Our Mediterranean-inspired cuisine celebrates the finest local ingredients, crafted into dishes that are both elegant and approachable. Our wine program is equally thoughtful, featuring selections from across the Mediterranean alongside celebrated Virginia wines and carefully chosen offerings from the West Coast. Orzo is proud to offer a range of private and semi-private event spaces perfectly suited for rehearsal dinners and other wedding celebrations. The Loft offers an intimate setting for up to 20 guests, while the Red Room accommodates up to 44 guests in a warm and inviting atmosphere. For larger gatherings, the entire restaurant — including our beautiful patio — is available for exclusive events. Each space can be paired with a custom menu tailored to your vision, ensuring a dining experience that is as unique and memorable as the occasion itself. We look forward to working with wedding planners and couples to create rehearsal dinners that set the perfect tone for the celebration ahead.
