Kori Price is a multidisciplinary artist, photographer, and writer based in Charlottesville, Virginia. Originally from Culpeper, Kori has been proud to call Central Virginia home for most of her life and is passionate about telling the stories of her community. She received her B.S. in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech in 2014 and spent the first ten years of her career working in engineering, marketing, and product management roles within the controls and automation industry for both General Electric and Emerson. While in her corporate career, Kori continued to write fiction and expand her interest in photography, seeking a balance between her technical and creative interests. She currently works as a full-time wedding and freelance photographer and artist. Kori’s work has been exhibited throughout Charlottesville most notably at New City Arts Initiative, The Paramount Theater, The Jefferson School African American Heritage Center, McGuffey Arts Center, and Second Street Gallery. When she doesn't have a camera in hand Kori enjoys making candles and running her candle business, Yes& Candles, wine tasting, reading books, and playing rugby.
