About Me

I’m the founder and creative director of Swoon Soirée Creative Events and Design, a planning and design studio producing weddings and social celebrations across Washington, D.C., Virginia, and destination locations. My work focuses on events where design and guest experience carry equal weight. While weddings are a large part of my portfolio, I also produce mitzvahs, milestone celebrations, and private entertaining where the goal is to create an environment that feels thoughtful, layered, and memorable. Creatively, I’m drawn to juxtaposition. I like pairing whimsical or playful elements with heirloom quality details so an event feels collected rather than overly polished. Fashion, historic interiors, architecture, and travel influence how I approach design, and I’m particularly drawn to venues with strong character like estates, museums, and private clubs. I have three kids and a career that keeps life fast moving. Outside of work, I’m usually chasing new experiences, great restaurants, and interesting places to explore. Fashion and travel are constant sources of inspiration for how people gather and celebrate. I’m a Libra and an Enneagram 8w7, which probably explains my mix of strong opinions, entrepreneurial energy, and curiosity about people and ideas. I enjoy connecting with people who are building interesting things and who care about creativity, culture, and thoughtful experiences.

While the company is widely known for producing weddings, the studio also plans a range of social celebrations including milestone birthdays, bar and bat mitzvahs, private entertaining, and intimate gatherings where thoughtful design and guest experience are equally important.
