I am so excited to join Charlottesville Wedding Society! Although I officially launched Events By Madison Carper in the summer of 2025, my journey into weddings began years earlier, working behind the scenes to help family and friends create meaningful celebrations. I was fortunate to spend several years shadowing and being mentored by talented planners in the industry, gaining hands-on experience with weddings of all sizes and styles before launching my own business. Since then, I've had the opportunity to coordinate and plan numerous weddings throughout the Shenandoah Valley and Central Virginia, and I continue to fall more in love with the Charlottesville wedding community. My specialty is creating organized, intentional wedding days that allow couples to be fully present while every detail is thoughtfully managed. I currently live in Augusta County with my husband, just over the mountain from Charlottesville, where we spend much of our free time exploring local wineries, restaurants, and events. As a newlywed myself, I understand firsthand the excitement and emotions that come with planning a wedding, which allows me to connect with my couples on a personal level. Outside of weddings, I teach fourth grade and absolutely love spending my days with curious, creative students. My background as a teacher has strengthened my communication, organization, problem-solving, and ability to stay calm under pressure: skills that translate seamlessly into wedding planning. As a former college basketball player, I still enjoy staying active through gym workouts and sports. In my free time, you'll usually find me spending time with family and friends, crafting, trying new recipes, traveling, or discovering new places. Some of my favorite, recent adventures have taken me to Saint Lucia, the Dominican Republic, and Niagara Falls. As I continue growing my business, my goal is to build lasting relationships with fellow wedding professionals throughout the Charlottesville area. I value collaboration, kindness, and supporting one another, and I'm excited to connect with other vendors, learn from experienced professionals, and become a trusted resource within this incredible wedding community!
